After graduating from Pierce College, Jeannie continued her studies in the UK and later on worked at the Embassy of China in Athens, even though she claims that her Chinese still needs work. She has travelled from Alaska to Tibet, in her free time she loves to read and take care of her garden where she practises permaculture, and also saves strays from all corners of Greece. She then left for Taiwan where she taught for a few years, but luckily for us the Greek sun won her over. <\/span><\/p>\n She has been teaching at our school for almost two decades, she is the director of English studies and works closely with Jeannie and the rest of the English department. Most of us in Faliro first met her at the local kindergartens where she taught and some of us visit her in the summer on the island of Ios where she is more than happy to show us round. Her students either young or older, love her and are her loyal followers. She has been involved in promoting the French language and culture in Greece, especially at our school where she continues to successfully lead our French department for years now. A greatly loved teacher with many years of experience, who always makes his lessons fun adding his knowledge, his numerous experiences and his humor. A graduate of Thames Valley University of West London in Psychology, she is a mum of a sweet girl and has a passion for cycling.
