MANY MINDS ONE GOAL

In Lower (B2), Advanced (C1) and Proficiency (C2), students and teachers decide together on which exam is more suitable for each student. The exams that our students participate in are internationally recognized exams from esteemed institutions like Cambridge University, Michigan University, Michigan State University, ESB.

These certificates are also accredited by the Greek ASEP/ΑΣΕΠ (Higher Council of Personnel Selection) and constitute valuable professional qualifications. 

Teaching is always adapted to each student’s abilities, aiming to develop their strong skills further while simultaneously addressing any weaknesses. At these levels students are exposed to more topics for more mature ages and are asked to write and analyze environmental, social and political issues, such as the climate change, immigration policies and poverty. Our consistent success rate of 100% in the last 10 and more years depicts the commitment that our teachers show to each one of our candidates. 

Mock Exams

On the first Saturday of every month students of levels B2, C1, C2 come to our school for a mock exam. Mock exams are a fundamental part of our exam preparation as they are a very useful experience for students. Also, through this practice teachers can monitor students’ progress and adjust their lessons in order to better prepare students for the coming exams. Our experience shows that students who consistently perform well in mock exams pass the actual exams with flying colours!

Kate Skordoulis Scholarship of Excellence

The Kate Skordoulis Scholarship of Excellence was created as a joint project between the G.Stamatopoulou Terra Linguae Language School and Organikon Ltd., a British management consultancy and life coaching company, run by Kate Skordoulis’s daughter, Dr. Rosemary Skordoulis. (www.organikon.co.uk)

The goal of this scholarship is to reward academic excellence in English as a second language, a life-long aim of the late Kate Skordoulis throughout her long career in education. This scholarship was created to honour an educator who always encouraged her students to progress and achieve excellence.

The scholarship covers the academic fees for one student for the entire academic year at the level of C1 or C2. It is awarded to a student who passed their B2 exams with a high score. For the current academic year Organikon Ltd. plans to award one scholarship.

English for University Entry in the Panhellenic exams

Our school has a long record of candidates who excel at the exams of English for University Entry in the Panhellenic exams. Our groups usually begin their preparation in March and the course consists of 10 two-hour lessons. Lessons are paused in May while the candidates are sitting their main exams and resume until the examination date.

In the course we use authentic, up-to-date material following the format of the official exam with extra drilling exercises where necessary. Given the heavy workload of students, teachers try to go through as much material as possible during the lesson and assign minimum homework.
